Put Some Fun In Your Room!

A client will sometimes call me in for a consultation and complain that the
room (usually the dining room or formal living room) doesn't have any
warmth to it.

The problem is usually pretty simple - they have been so worried about
getting everything picture perfect that they have sucked all the life right
out of it.

Even formal spaces need to have just a little touch of fun. Don't be too
stuffy! Put in an unexpected touch such as a splashy painting in a formal
living room, or perhaps a crystal bowl full of fresh flowers with a teensy
green ceramic frog peeking out.

Mess up the runner on your dining room table and anchor it with a copper
pitcher with fresh greenery trailing over the side.

Let YOUR personality come through! These little touches are what make a
beautiful space come alive.
